-SHUTTLE-

Actually I had walk around Huddersfield when I arrived, it takes me 3 days to walk through all the street inside the ''ring''.  This collage is represent the flow of my derive walk with my first impressions. It's starts from the landmark, train station that connect to outside world and ends at Barbara Hepworth building where a place we will always get in touch. Along with Huddersfield’s rich industrial history and Victorian architecture, there are a variety of interesting historical arch on windows and doors. Flipping and symmetrising the arch to framed the landmark from international student viewpoint. And also interpret shortcuts ways in the city that would helped you to reach a location with shorter distance; and a hidden space behind the gateway in a building. The grey texture, blue texture and yellow texture behind represent night and day with moon and sun.

-WAY OUT-

Way out is recommended people to explore more and travel more outside Huddersfield, and you will found out the building architecture and the life is richer than a small city here. I used boats instead of train on tracks for the transportation because some people here are living with the boats. Road sign on left bottom is to remind you are about to reach the station. The grey semi-circular and blue semi-circular interior ceiling represent day and night.

-THE FRIENDLY CITY-

Introducing a new tram line for the city that extends to hotspots that are not easily accessible without a car such as The John Smith's Stadium and the hospital. Tram stations will give us an opportunity to improve the layout of roads in Huddersfield by introducing more bicycle lanes and parking spaces. Existing carparks in the ring road will be introduced with car-share parking spaces, where their members can easily rent a car for a short destination as long as it is parked in its allocated parking space.

-CO-WORKING SPACE AND DRONE HUB-

By the year 2039, our technological advancement will at least double from today as the giant tech companies are growing exponentially. We will introduce co-working spaces in vacant buildings with potential. Allowing start-up companies to afford cheap office rentals and bringing people with bright minds and similar ideas together to achieve great things. Secondly, we will introduce drone delivery hubs across town and in buildings with potential for drone landings on their rooftop.
